Let the Light In Boheme Slip Dress

A tribute to the luminous wisdom of Leonard Cohen’s words—“There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in”—this dress is a meditation on resilience, the elegance of imperfection, and the art of being shaped by time.

The print tells its own story: crafted from fragments of 18th-century Delft tiles, including two elaborate Italianate landscapes, every detail preserves the delicate cracks and subtle aging of the original ceramics. Rather than editing them away, the design embraces these marks of history as quiet reminders of transformation, much like the softened edges we each carry through our own journeys.

Layered into the trim are patterns pulled from an 1867 British treatise on classical ornamentation, alongside a hand-painted earthenware plaque from the Netherlands dated 1780. Together, they create a textile tapestry that whispers across centuries.

Cut in the signature Bohéme silhouette, the dress flows with ease and intention.
