At its center is Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s final masterpiece — his hauntingly beautiful portrait of Joan of Arc, completed just days before his death. Joan’s story is one of profound courage: born a peasant girl, she rose to lead armies through faith and conviction, her strength unshaken even in the face of fire.

The print’s florals, borrowed from centuries-old paintings, bloom as symbols of endurance and grace. Along the trim, a hand-coloured sketch of stained-glass windows pays homage to the sacred places where Joan sought peace. And hidden within, a fox painted in 1810 represents the divine guidance she trusted above all.

Her immortal words — “I am not afraid, I was born to do this” — appear on her sleeve within the design, a quiet reminder to live boldly and love deeply.
