Stargazer Matinee Starduster

$139.00

Some pieces feel like they have a story woven right into the fabric, and the Stargazer Matinee Starduster is one of them.

Its dreamy celestial print is inspired by an 1833 engraving by artist Vollmy, capturing the earliest recorded Leonid Meteor Shower—a night when more than 240,000 meteors lit up the skies over North America. Imagine standing beneath that sky, watching shooting stars fall in every direction. We can't help but think that thousands of wishes were made that night.

Adding another layer of magic, the beautifully detailed moon featured on the sleeves comes from astronomy artwork created at the Camille Flammarion Observatory near Paris in 1899.

Made from soft, breathable plant-based viscose, this lightweight kimono drapes beautifully over everything from a simple tank and jeans to your favourite dress. It's an easy way to add a little wonder, a little conversation, and a little everyday magic to your wardrobe.
