Heart of Gold Opera Duster

Heart of Gold is a celebration of the bonds that connect us — the friendships that sustain us, the truths that steady us, and the love that endures through distance and time. Both romantic and dramatic, this design was born from an intricate collage of antique art, created as a visual ode to devotion and grace.

Hand-painted swallows from an 1865 scrapbook soar across the fabric, wings outstretched in perfect symmetry, carrying between them a ribbon — a symbol of faithfulness and connection. Delicate floral wreaths by 17th-century artist Karel Batist bloom throughout, framing a sacred heart from Notre Dame in France, embroidered with golden thread in 1872. Along the trim, a vintage Victorian banner bears the words “friendship, love, and truth,” a simple yet powerful reminder of what truly matters — the golden threads that bind our lives with beauty, loyalty, and care.

Crafted from silky viscose derived from bamboo and wood fibres, it moves beautifully and feels weightless against the skin.
